Definition and Usage

The borderBottomColor property sets or returns the color of the bottom border of an element.

Browser Support

The numbers in the table specify the first browser version that fully supports the property.

Syntax

Return the borderBottomColor property:

object.style.borderBottomColor

Set the borderBottomColor property:

object.style.borderBottomColor="color|transparent|initial|inherit"

Property Values

Value	Description
color	Specifies the color of the bottom border. Look at CSS Color Values for a complete list of possible color values. Default color is black
transparent	The color of the bottom border is transparent (underlying content will shine through)
initial	Sets this property to its default value. Read about initial
inherit	Inherits this property from its parent element. Read about inherit
